Awakening Radiance — Selected for The 34 Gallery
I’m grateful to share that my artwork A Small Hug, Left Behind has been selected for the Awakening Radiance virtual exhibition, curated by The 34 Gallery on Webbie Social.
Awakening Radiance explores light not as perfection, but as presence — the kind of quiet, steady glow that exists even when things feel heavy. It’s about small moments of care, gentle resilience, and finding warmth in ordinary places.
The piece I submitted reflects that idea in a very simple way. A worn bench, soft afternoon light, a rose left behind, and a small note offering comfort to whoever might need it. For me, radiance doesn’t always arrive as something bright or dramatic. Sometimes it’s just a reminder that kindness exists — even when no one is watching.
The exhibition also highlights creative work connected to mental health and well-being, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3.4, which focuses on mental health advocacy. Being part of this context feels meaningful, as creating images like this is often how I process, soften, and make sense of my own experiences.
I’m thankful to The 34 Gallery for including my work and for creating space where quiet, human gestures can be seen as something worth holding onto.
