Find the Others" Selected for the Official VAVortex Metaverse Exhibition

The exhibition is part of the international Find the Others open call, organized by VAVortex, BRAINFROG, Muriel Lherm, and BLINK, with support from a wonderful network of creative communities and Web3 partners. The initiative invited artists to begin the new year with intention, exploring ideas of alignment, resonance, and community through digital art.

When I first read the theme, one sentence stayed with me: Connection over noise. Intention over hype. Art as a signal.

It made me think about how easily we can feel isolated, even when surrounded by people. Sometimes it isn't that we need to search harder for connection—we simply need to become aware that others are already walking their own paths alongside us.

That thought became the foundation for "Find the Others."

The artwork follows a solitary figure carrying a small, steady light through a quiet, reflective landscape. At first glance the journey appears to be taken alone, but as the eye lingers, other figures slowly emerge from the mist. They are not a destination to reach or a crowd demanding attention. They simply exist—sharing the same world, each carrying their own story.

For me, the piece is about recognition rather than discovery. It reflects the moment we realise that meaningful connections are often quiet. They don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they have been there all along, waiting to be noticed.

I am incredibly happy that this artwork resonated with the curators and will become part of the exhibition. It is always an honour to see a piece find a home in a project whose values align so closely with the ideas that inspired it.
