"What You Carry" Selected for 34 Gallery's Aura Open Call

The exhibition invited artists from around the world to explore the idea of aura—the impressions we leave behind, the connections we make without words, and the invisible qualities that shape how we experience one another.

When I first read the theme, I kept coming back to a simple thought: some people make the world feel a little lighter simply by being there.

Not because they are loud or demand attention, but because they carry kindness, hope, and a quiet strength that others can feel before a single word is spoken.

That became the starting point for What You Carry.

The light in the image isn't meant to represent a literal aura. Instead, it symbolizes the warmth we can bring into the lives of others through compassion, resilience, and the choice to remain positive, even when life isn't always easy. I like to believe that the energy we carry has the power to reach beyond ourselves and quietly influence the people around us.

I'm grateful to 34 Gallery for selecting the piece and to WebbieSocial for hosting another inspiring open call that brings artists together from all over the world. It's always encouraging to see so many different interpretations of a single theme and to be part of a community that celebrates creativity in all its forms.
