The 34 Gallery is part of the global mental-health initiative led by Simuka Africa, an organisation working to support vulnerable youth, survivors of child marriage, and communities affected by trauma. The gallery uses art as a bridge — a way to uplift voices, create emotional connection, and offer moments of healing through creativity. Every exhibition they run is tied in some way to well-being, resilience, and human dignity.

This month’s open call, Awakening Radiance, explores how we reconnect with inner light — especially in difficult or uncertain times. It asks artists to reflect on quiet brilliance, subtle glow, gentle magic, and the small sparks that help us feel grounded again.
The call has just opened on WebbieSocial, and if you’d like to take part, you can submit your work here:

I’m genuinely proud that one of my pieces gets to introduce this call and support the work they’re doing. I just wanted to share that bit of joy.
